Sports Goods Export Promotion Council (SGEPC)

SGEPC is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and is working for the promotion of India’s exports of sports goods and toys. Founded in 1958, SGEPC represents all the leading manufacturers and exporters of sports goods and toys in India and serves as a common platform for companies from all over the country, with common interests, where they can meet to exchange views, decide on common strategies for promotion and from where they can voice their concerns at both national and international levels. SGEPC organizes trade promotion activities like Indian participation in international trade fairs, visits of business delegations, promotional campaigns in international markets etc. Other activities include dissemination of information to its member companies, maintaining export statistics and making projections and recognizing achievements of exporters through its annual export awards.

THE ALL INDIA TOY MANUFACTURERS' ASSOCIATION (TAITMA)

THE ALL INDIA TOY MANUFACTURERS' ASSOCIATION (TAITMA) is the apex body of the toy industry representing members from all over the country. Looking into the interest of the toy fraternity since1976, with the prime object of upgrading the toy industry in India, in a systematic and scientific manner and to exploit its export potential to earn valuable foreign exchange for the country.

The toy industry in India has tremendous potential to raise its productivity, create employment and for all around development of the economy. The industry also presents vast potential for export of toys, dolls, games and playthings. However, the toy industry has not received adequate attention for its development.

The production units of the toy industry (which are mainly in the small scale sector), range from very small units right upto modern factories and these units are spread in all parts of the country, coming under the Ministry of MSME. The Indian toy industry is poised for a rapid growth in the years to come.

Indo-German Chamber of Commerce

The AHK Indien or the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 1956. Today, we are with over 6000 members the largest AHK and the largest Chamber of Commerce in India. We have built up a strong local presence with our head-office in Mumbai, branch offices in Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai and Pune and a liaison office in Düsseldorf (Germany). As the primary contact for Indian and German companies who want to start doing business with the respective other country, we enhance the bilateral economic relations between India and Germany.
